a Reformed theologian of Switzerland, was horn at Geneva, Feb. 19, 1591. He studied in Germany, Holland, and England. After his return to his native place he was appointed, in 1619, professor of Oriental languages and history, and died in 1655. He wrote Quaestiones Sacrae in Quibus Multa Scr.
