a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born in 1700 at Nerichau, near Grimma. He studied atWittenberg; was in 1721 magister; in 1729 archidiaconus at Wittenberg; in 1737 doctor of theology there, and died in 1759, leaving .De Antiquitate et Origine Ritus Interrogandi Infantes ante Baptism.
