Coda (or Codi), Benedetto

a Ferrarese painter, was born about 1460, and studied under Giovanni Bellini. He is said to have painted several pictures for the churches at Rimini. The principal are The Marriage of the Virgin, in the cupola Of-the cathedral, and his picture of The Rosary, in the Church of the Dominicans. He died about 1520. See Spooner, Biog.
