a Lutheran minister, was a native of Dundalk, Ireland. Arriving in America in his youth, he settled in Easton, Pa., and for many years was engaged in teaching. In 1833 he was licensed by the New York Synod; in 1834 was ordained pastor at Spruce Run, N.J., and served there twenty-seven years. He died in New York city, January 1, 1861.
