a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, January 28, 1797. He embraced religion in 1827, was licensed to preach in 1828, removed to Jacksonville, Illinois, in 1830, and in 1836 entered the Illinois Conference. With but one year's exception as a superannuate, he labored zealouslv and successfully until his second superannuation, in 1863. He died late in 1863 or in 1864.
