a Scotch clergyman, graduated at King's College, Aberdeen, in 1646; was ordained minister at Penicuick in November, 1656; collated in October 1662; transferred to Kirkmahoe in 1663; continued April 27, 1664; transferred to Mauchline in 1665; presented by the king to Dunsyre in 1669; transferred to St. Fergus in 1678; admitted April 18; and died in 1696, aged about seventy years.
