a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born November 3, 1656, at Reutlingen. He studied at Tubingen and Wittenberg, and was pastor and superintendent at his native city from 1680 to 1702. In the latter year he was called to Durlach,.where he died, June 14, 1736.
