Gatti, Bernardo (called Soiaro)
an eminent Italian painter, was born at Cremona, and was a scholar of Correggio. Some of his best works are his Repose in Egypt, in St. Sigismund's, at Cremona; Christ in the Macnger, at St. Peter's, in the same city; and the Dead Christ, in the Magdalene, at Parma.
