Gegoberga (or Segoberga) (Lat. Ccecilia, or Clara), Saint
said to have been a daughter of St. Romaric, whose convent she built; succeeded (cir. A.D. 626) St. Macteflede -as second abbess of the double monastery of Haben (afterwards Remiremont or Romberg), on the top of a, hill in the Vosges, near the Moselle. She is commemorated August 12.
