a Lutheran theologian, was born May 13,1685, at Copenhagen. He studied at Kiel and Jena, was preacher at the latter place in 1722, member of consistory in 1725, and rector at Hamburg in 1731. He died July 24, 1734. Besides translating into German Buddeus's work, De Atheismo et Superstitione (Jena, 1723), he wrote Disp. Inaug. Theologica de Fermento Phariseourunt (1728).
