a French prelate, succeeded his brother in the bishopric of Couserans, and also of Tarbes in 1522. He was sent on various diplomatic missions. In 1532 he was made bishop of Poitiers, and finally archbishop of Toulouse. He died March 26, 1534, leaving in MS. a collection of letters relating to his various embassies. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
