a Dominican of Amsterdam, was born May 6, 1634, and died at Louvain, April 22, 1704, professor of theology. He was an opponent of the Jansenists, and wrote L'Obeissance Raisonnable des Catholiques des Pays-Bas (Antwerp, 1636; transl. also into Latin).
