a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Lemberg, April 10, 1532. He studied at Frankfort, was preacher at Lemberg, Schweidnitz, and at Breslau. In the latter place, where he died in 1589, he was also professor of theology at the gymnasium. He published sermons on Ruth, Joshua, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, and Micah.
