a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born in 1798. He was ordained for the ministry in 1823, and was from 1827 pastor at Detmold. He died December 30, 1882, doctor of theology and member of consistory, leaving De iis, quae Potissimum Contulerint ad Lutherums Sacrorum Reformatorem Sensim Effingendum (Gottingen, 1819).
