a Lutheran minister of Germany, was born in Berlin, July 12, 1806. He studied in his native city, was in 1834 pastor at Wusterwitz, in Pomerania, in 1849 Gossner's successor at the Bethlehem Church in Berlin, and died July 27, 1878, at Dunnow, in Pomerania, whither he had gone to restore his feeble health.
