a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born October 31, 1768, at Neuen-kirchen, near Osnabruck. In 1789 he was teacher at Halle, in 1790, preacher at Haddenhausen, near Minden, in 1792 at Hartum, in 1810 cathedral-preacher at Bremen, and died September 20, 1842, doctor of theology.
