a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Kiinigsberg, October 26, 1594. He studied at the theological university of that city, was in 1621 professor, in 1623 second court-preacher, in 1626 professor of Hebrew, in 1640 doctor of theology, in 1645 attended the colloquy at Thoren, and died May 4, 1648.
