an English educator and philosopher, was born in 1561, and was a native of Llansawell. He was educated at Jesus College, Oxford, and became its principal in 1613. He died in 1620. He wrote, Analysis Analyticorum Posteriorum seu Librorum Aristotelis de Demonstratione, cum Scholiis optimorum Interpretum (Oxon. 1594, 8vo): — Analysis Libri Aristotelis de Sophisticis Elenchis (1594; reprinted 1598, 1664).
