a Jesuit, was born at Antwerp in the year 1580. In 1600 he entered the Order of the Jesuits, Was appointed professor of exegesis, superior of the Dutch Mission, and died July 14, 1636. He published, Biblia Mo-agna, cunr Commentarius Gaogneri, Estii, Menochii, et Tirini (Paris, 1643, 5 vols. fol.): Commentarius in Sacram Scripturami, cum Chronico Sacro ac Prolegomenis de Antiquis Ponderibus et Afonetis acc de Alensuris deque Chorographia Tesrce Sanctae (Antw. 1632, 3 vols. fol.; 1645, fol.; Lyons, 1664; Venice, 1688; Augsburg, 1704).
