Venema, Herman, D.D.
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a learned Dutch divine, was born at Wildervank in 1697. He was successively pastor at Dronryp, and professor of theology and university preacher at Franeker. He died in 1787. He was a voluminous writer in all departments of sacred science.
