a preacher of the Society of Free Quakers, was born at Burlington, N. J., in 1713, and removed to Philadelphia in early youth, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was a prominent manufacturer of that city as well as a preacher. He wrote, An Apology for the Religious Society called Free Quakers: a tract on the Divinity of Christ, and other works.
