yir·mə·yā·hū,

יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ

wə·ḏib·bar·tām

וְדִבַּרְתָּם֙

the inhabitants

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim.

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣

Cursed [are]

your fathers

’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem

אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֡ם

[that] I brought them forth

out of the land

from the iron

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem

וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם

according to all

so shall you be

wə·’ā·nō·ḵî,

to the end that

I may perform

haš·šə·ḇū·‘āh

הַשְּׁבוּעָ֜ה

I have sworn

נִשְׁבַּ֣עְתִּי

to your forefathers

la·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem,

לַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם

Then answered

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֤ים

in the cities

and in the streets

ū·ḇə·ḥu·ṣō·wṯ

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem

וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם

to your fathers

ba·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem,

בַּאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם

[that] I brought them up

ha·‘ă·lō·w·ṯî

out of the land

swelling early

and protesting

do Yet they obeyed

way·yê·lə·ḵū,

וַיֵּ֣לְכ֔וּ

in the stubbornness

בִּשְׁרִיר֖וּת

of their evil

therefore I will bring

[them] to do

A conspiracy

among the men

and among the inhabitants

ū·ḇə·yō·šə·ḇê

וּבְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim.

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

They are turned back

the iniquities

with their fathers

of their ancestors

hā·ri·šō·nîm,

הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֗ים

lə·‘ā·ḇə·ḏām;

and the house

their fathers

’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām.

I will bring

mim·men·nāh;

and though they shall cry

Then shall go

and inhabitants

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim,

יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים

offer incense

mə·qaṭ·ṭə·rîm

מְקַטְּרִ֖ים

and save them at all

wə·hō·wō·šê·a‘

do save them at all

of their trouble

[according to] the number

of your cities

[according to] and the number

of the streets

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim,

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם

have you set up

miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ

מִזְבְּחוֹת֙

[that] to shameful thing

[even] altars

miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ

מִזְבְּח֖וֹת

do Therefore pray

תִּתְפַּלֵּל֙

to Me because

ū·ṯə·p̄il·lāh;

[them] in the time

that they cry

their trouble

has my beloved

[seeing] she has worked

ham·zim·mā·ṯāh

הַֽמְזִמָּ֙תָה֙

mê·‘ā·lā·yiḵ;

מֵֽעָלָ֑יִךְ

ta·‘ă·lō·zî.

תַּעֲלֹֽזִי׃

dā·lî·yō·w·ṯāw.

דָּלִיּוֹתָֽיו׃

For the LORD

that planted

han·nō·w·ṭê·a‘

has pronounced

לְהַכְעִסֵ֖נִי

in offering incense

has given me knowledge

hō·w·ḏî·‘a·nî

הֽוֹדִיעַ֖נִי

you showedst me

hir·’î·ṯa·nî

הִרְאִיתַ֥נִי

their doings

ma·‘al·lê·hem.

מַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃

[that] is brought

to the slaughter

liṭ·ḇō·w·aḥ;

they had devised

ma·ḥă·šā·ḇō·wṯ,

מַחֲשָׁב֗וֹת

Let us destroy

נַשְׁחִ֨יתָה

with its fruit

and let us cut him off

wə·niḵ·rə·ṯen·nū

וְנִכְרְתֶ֙נּוּ֙

from the land

of the living

that his name

do remembered

and the heart

your vengeance

niq·mā·ṯə·ḵā

נִקְמָֽתְךָ֙

you have I revealed

‘ă·nā·ṯō·wṯ,

הַֽמְבַקְשִׁ֥ים

bə·yā·ḏê·nū.

בְּיָדֵֽנוּ׃

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

I am about to punish

the young men

hab·ba·ḥū·rîm

הַבַּֽחוּרִים֙

by the sword

and their daughers

ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯê·hem,

וּבְנ֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם

וּשְׁאֵרִ֕ית

do there shall be

I will bring

[even] the year

of their visitation

pə·qud·dā·ṯām.

פְּקֻדָּתָֽם׃
