yir·mə·yā·hū,

יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ

wə·yā·raḏ·tā

וְיָרַדְתָּ֖

of the potter

hay·yō·w·ṣêr;

I will cause you to hear

’aš·mî·‘ă·ḵā

אַשְׁמִֽיעֲךָ֥

Then I went down

of the potter

hay·yō·w·ṣêr;

[wə·hin·nê·hū

(wə·hin·nêh-

hā·’ā·ḇə·nā·yim.

הָאָבְנָֽיִם׃

And was marred

of the potter

hay·yō·w·ṣêr;

way·ya·‘ă·śê·hū

וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֙הוּ֙

as it pleased

to the potter

hay·yō·w·ṣêr

to make atonement

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ.

hă·ḵay·yō·w·ṣêr

הֲכַיּוֹצֵ֨ר

with you as this

[is] of in the potter

hay·yō·w·ṣêr,

[are] in my hand

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

[At what] instant

I shall speak

and concerning

and to pull down

wə·lin·ṯō·wṣ

and to destroy

ū·lə·ha·’ă·ḇîḏ.

וּֽלְהַאֲבִֽיד׃

If that nation

from their evil

mê·rā·‘ā·ṯōw,

I have pronounced

דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי

and I will repent

wə·ni·ḥam·tî

וְנִֽחַמְתִּי֙

חָשַׁ֖בְתִּי

[at what] And instant

I shall speak

and concerning

and to plant

wə·lin·ṭō·a‘.

וְלִנְטֹֽעַ׃

and If it do

do that it obey

then I will repent

wə·ni·ḥam·tî

וְנִֽחַמְתִּי֙

haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh,

therefore go

the inhabitants

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם

you and devise

ma·ḥă·šā·ḇāh;

מַֽחֲשָׁבָ֑ה

מִדַּרְכּ֣וֹ

from his evil

וְהֵיטִ֥יבוּ

make your ways

and your doings

ū·ma·‘al·lê·ḵem.

וּמַעַלְלֵיכֶֽם׃

And they said

There is no hope

our own devices

maḥ·šə·ḇō·w·ṯê·nū

מַחְשְׁבוֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙

we will walk

and we will every one

the imagination

among the nations

bag·gō·w·yim,

horrible thing

ša·‘ă·ru·riṯ

שַֽׁעֲרֻרִת֙

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

[a man] Will leave

hă·ya·‘ă·zōḇ

[which cometh] from the rock

of the field

lə·ḇā·nō·wn;

yin·nā·ṯə·šū,

יִנָּתְשׁ֗וּ

that come from another place

shall the cold

has forgotten

to worthless me

they have burned incense

yə·qaṭ·ṭê·rū;

and they have caused them to stumble

way·yaḵ·ši·lūm

וַיַּכְשִׁל֤וּם

from their ways

bə·ḏar·ḵê·hem

בְּדַרְכֵיהֶם֙

[from] the ancient

nə·ṯî·ḇō·wṯ,

to make atonement

(šə·rî·qō·wṯ

(שְׁרִיקֹ֣ות

shall be astonished

בְּרֹאשֽׁוֹ׃

as with an east

I will scatter

the enemy them

of their calamity

way·yō·mə·rū,

וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ

and let us devise

wə·naḥ·šə·ḇāh

וְנַחְשְׁבָ֣ה

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָהוּ֮

ma·ḥă·šā·ḇō·wṯ

מַחֲשָׁבוֹת֒

to the priest

nor the word

to the prophet

and let us strike

wə·nak·kê·hū

at him with [our] tongue

ḇal·lā·šō·wn,

and let us not

do give heed

נַקְשִׁ֖יבָה

of his words

Give heed me

הַקְשִׁ֥יבָה

of those who contend

be recompensed

הַיְשֻׁלַּ֤ם

they have dug

that I stood

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā,

to turn away

their children

to the famine

and pour out

wə·hag·gi·rêm

[blood] the force

of the sword

wə·ṯih·ye·nāh

וְתִֽהְיֶ֨נָה

let their wives

bereaved of their children

šak·ku·lō·wṯ

and [are] and widows

wə·’al·mā·nō·wṯ,

וְאַלְמָנ֔וֹת

and let their men

wə·’an·šê·hem,

וְאַ֨נְשֵׁיהֶ֔ם

[let] their young men [are]

ba·ḥū·rê·hem,

בַּח֣וּרֵיהֶ֔ם

by the sword

bam·mil·ḥā·māh.

בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃

from their houses

mib·bāt·tê·hem,

מִבָּ֣תֵּיהֶ֔ם

you shall bring

For they have dug

lə·lā·ḵə·ḏê·nî,

לְלָכְדֵ֔נִי

and snares me

their counsel

do [me] forgive

their iniquity

and their sin

wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯām

וְחַטָּאתָ֖ם

from Your sight

mil·lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā

מִלְּפָנֶ֣יךָ

but let them be

מֻכְשָׁלִים֙

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā,

with them in the time

of your anger
