wə·ḏib·bar·tā

וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙

and your servants

wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā

וַעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙

that your people

wə·‘am·mə·ḵā,

baš·šə·‘ā·rîm

בַּשְּׁעָרִ֥ים

and righteousness

ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh,

wə·haṣ·ṣî·lū

וְהַצִּ֥ילוּ

from the power

of the oppressor

and to the stranger

the fatherless

and nor the widow

wə·’al·mā·nāh

וְאַלְמָנָ֤ה

תִּשְׁפְּכ֖וּ

bam·mā·qō·wm

then shall there enter in

by the gates

and on horses

ū·ḇas·sū·sîm,

וּבַסּוּסִ֔ים

his servants

(wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw

(וַעֲבָדָ֖יו

and his people

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֖ים

נִשְׁבַּ֙עְתִּי֙

a desolation

lə·ḥā·rə·bāh

shall become

of Judah [are]

hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn;

הַלְּבָנ֑וֹן

[yet] I will make you

אֲשִֽׁיתְךָ֙

a wilderness

[nō·wō·šā·ḇāh

(nō·wō·šā·ḇū.

(נֹושָֽׁבוּ׃

And I will prepare

wə·qid·daš·tî

וְקִדַּשְׁתִּ֥י

destroyers you

מַשְׁחִתִ֖ים

and with his weapons

and they shall cut down

’ă·rā·ze·ḵā,

wə·hip·pî·lū

וְהִפִּ֖ילוּ

[them] the fire

and shall pass

and they shall say

his neighbor

has the LORD

hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh

הַגְּדוֹלָ֖ה

Then they shall answer

wə·’ā·mə·rū,

they have forsaken

the covenant

’ĕ·lō·hê·hem;

אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם

and worshiped

way·yiš·ta·ḥă·wū

וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֛וּ

way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏūm.

וַיַּעַבְדֽוּם׃

for the dead

for the one who goes

do he shall return

mō·w·laḏ·tōw.

מוֹלַדְתּֽוֹ׃

יֹאשִׁיָּ֜הוּ

that reigned

יֹאשִׁיָּ֣הוּ

ham·mā·qō·wm

in the place

where they have led him captive

he shall die

to him who builds

unrighteousness

and his chambers

wa·‘ă·lî·yō·w·ṯāw

וַעֲלִיּוֹתָ֖יו

of [that] uses his neighbor

בְּרֵעֵ֙הוּ֙

outside wages

for his work

ū·p̄ō·‘ă·lōw

I will build

and chambers

wa·‘ă·lî·yō·wṯ

וַעֲלִיּ֖וֹת

With spacious

mə·ruw·wā·ḥîm;

מְרֻוָּחִ֑ים

and cuts him out

ḥal·lō·w·nāy,

[it is] and ceiled

ū·mā·šō·w·aḥ

with vermilion

בַּשָּׁשַֽׁר׃

shall you reign

הֲתִֽמְלֹ֔ךְ

mə·ṯa·ḥă·reh

then justice

ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh,

[it was] well

wə·’eḇ·yō·wn

[it was] well

[with him was] to know

and your heart

wə·lib·bə·ḵā,

upon your own dishonest

לִשְׁפּ֔וֹךְ

ham·mə·rū·ṣāh

הַמְּרוּצָ֖ה

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ.

yə·hō·w·yā·qîm

יְהוֹיָקִ֤ים

יֹאשִׁיָּ֙הוּ֙

with the burial

He shall be buried

and cast forth

וְהַשְׁלֵ֔ךְ

mê·hā·lə·’āh

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim.

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn

הַלְּבָנוֹן֙

and in Bashan

ū·ḇab·bā·šān

וּבַבָּשָׁ֖ן

out also from Abarim

mê·‘ă·ḇā·rîm,

מֵֽעֲבָרִ֔ים

are destroyed

נִשְׁבְּר֖וּ

mə·’a·hă·ḇā·yiḵ.

מְאַהֲבָֽיִךְ׃

דִּבַּ֤רְתִּי

in your prosperity

bə·šal·wō·ṯa·yiḵ,

בְּשַׁלְוֹתַ֔יִךְ

[but] you said

[hath been] your manner

from your youth

min·nə·‘ū·ra·yiḵ,

מִנְּעוּרַ֔יִךְ

shall eat up

your pastors

and your lovers

ū·mə·’a·hă·ḇa·yiḵ

וּֽמְאַהֲבַ֖יִךְ

into captivity

shall you be ashamed

and confounded

wə·niḵ·lamt,

וְנִכְלַ֔מְתְּ

your wickedness

[יֹשַׁבְתִּי

O inhabitant

(יֹשַׁבְתְּ֙

bal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn,

בַּלְּבָנ֔וֹן

[mə·qun·nan·tî

[מְקֻנַּנְתִּי

that make your nest

(mə·qun·nant

(מְקֻנַּ֖נְתְּ

in the cedars

bā·’ă·rā·zîm;

בָּֽאֲרָזִ֑ים

shall you be when pangs

as of a women in travail

kay·yō·lê·ḏāh

כַּיֹּלֵדָֽה׃

of Jehoiakim

yə·hō·w·yā·qîm

יְהֽוֹיָקִים֙

would I pluck

’et·tə·qen·kā.

אֶתְּקֶֽנְךָּ׃

and I will give you

ū·nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā,

וּנְתַתִּ֗יךָ

into the hand

of those who are seeking

and into the hand

[of them] face

mip·pə·nê·hem;

מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם

and even into the hand

of Nebuchadnezzar

nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar

נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר

and into the hand

of the Chaldeans

hak·kaś·dîm.

הַכַּשְׂדִּֽים׃

And I will cast you out

wə·hê·ṭal·tî

וְהֵֽטַלְתִּ֣י

yə·lā·ḏaṯ·ḵā,

into another

יֻלַּדְתֶּ֖ם

shall you die

mə·naś·śə·’îm

מְנַשְּׂאִ֥ים

kā·nə·yā·hū,

are they cast out

and his offspring

and are cast

wə·huš·lə·ḵū,

וְהֻ֨שְׁלְכ֔וּ

do they know

do [that] prosper

shall prosper

of his descendants

miz·zar·‘ōw,

בִּיהוּדָֽה׃
