לִנְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֖ר

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֤הוּ

the inhabitants

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

[is] the three

lə·yō·šî·yā·hū

לְיֹאשִׁיָּ֣הוּ

and twentieth

וְעֶשְׂרִים֙

and I have spoken

wā·’ă·ḏab·bêr

swelling early

but speaking

you have not

שְׁמַעְתֶּֽם׃

And has sent

His servants

the prophets

han·nə·ḇi·’îm

הַנְּבִאִ֛ים

swelling early

you have not

do [them] listened

שְׁמַעְתֶּ֑ם

’ā·zə·nə·ḵem

Turn you again

מִדַּרְכּ֤וֹ

from his evil

and from the evil

of your deeds

ma·‘al·lê·ḵem,

מַעַלְלֵיכֶ֔ם

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

and to you and to your fathers

wə·la·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem;

וְלַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם

to serve them

lə·‘ā·ḇə·ḏām

and to worship

ū·lə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wōṯ

וּלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֣ת

and not them

and provoke me not to anger

with the work

bə·ma·‘ă·śêh

בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה

of your hands

שְׁמַעְתֶּ֥ם

to the end that

[hiḵ·‘i·sū·nî

[הִכְעִסוּנִי

might provoke me to anger

(haḵ·‘î·sê·nî

(הַכְעִיסֵ֛נִי

with the work

bə·ma·‘ă·śêh

בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה

of your hands

to your own harm

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ;

שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם

wə·lā·qaḥ·tî

וְלָקַחְתִּי֩

the families

miš·pə·ḥō·wṯ

מִשְׁפְּח֨וֹת

of the north

Nebuchadnezzar

nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar

נְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר

and will bring

wa·hă·ḇi·’ō·ṯîm

וַהֲבִ֨אֹתִ֜ים

the inhabitants

yō·šə·ḇe·hā,

יֹ֣שְׁבֶ֔יהָ

hag·gō·w·yim

and will utterly destroy them

wə·ha·ḥă·ram·tîm,

וְהַ֣חֲרַמְתִּ֔ים

and make them

וְשַׂמְתִּים֙

an astonishment

and a hissing

wə·liš·rê·qāh,

וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֔ה

and desolations

ū·lə·ḥā·rə·ḇō·wṯ

וּלְחָרְב֖וֹת

Moreover I will take

wə·ha·’ă·ḇaḏ·tî

וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֣י

and the voice

of the bridegroom

and the voice

of the bride

of the millstones

and the light

of the candle

and shall be

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

a desolation

lə·ḥā·rə·bāh

an astonishment

and shall serve

hag·gō·w·yim

And it shall come to pass

are accomplished

when seventy

[that] I will punish

their iniquity

of the Chaldeans

כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים

and will make

וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י

lə·šim·mō·wṯ

לְשִֽׁמְמ֥וֹת

it perpetual

[wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî

[וְהֵבֵאיתִי

I will bring

(wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî

(וְהֵֽבֵאתִי֙

I have pronounced

דִּבַּ֣רְתִּי

[even] that is written

has prophesied

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ

hag·gō·w·yim.

of them also

gə·ḏō·w·lîm;

and I will recompense

wə·šil·lam·tî

וְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֥י

according to their deeds

kə·p̄ā·‘o·lām

and according to the works

ū·ḵə·ma·‘ă·śêh

וּכְמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה

of their own hands

from My hand

and you to drink

wə·hiš·qî·ṯāh

וְהִשְׁקִיתָ֤ה

hag·gō·w·yim,

And they shall drink

and be moved

wə·hiṯ·gō·‘ă·šū

וְהִֽתְגֹּֽעֲשׁ֖וּ

wə·hiṯ·hō·lā·lū;

וְהִתְהֹלָ֑לוּ

of the sword

of at the LORD

and to drink

וָֽאַשְׁקֶה֙

hag·gō·w·yim,

[To wit] Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙

and the princes

to make atonement

a desolation

lə·ḥā·rə·bāh

an astonishment

wə·liq·lā·lāh

וְלִקְלָלָ֖ה

his servants

the mixed people

of the Philistines

פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים

’aš·qə·lō·wn

אַשְׁקְל֤וֹן

אַשְׁדּֽוֹד׃

the children

of the isles

[that are] in the utmost

of the mixed people

haš·šō·ḵə·nîm

הַשֹּׁכְנִ֖ים

in the wilderness

bam·miḏ·bār.

בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃

of the north

haṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn,

haq·qə·rō·ḇîm

הַקְּרֹבִ֤ים

wə·hā·rə·ḥō·qîm

וְהָֽרְחֹקִים֙

the kingdoms

ham·mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ

הַמַּמְלְכ֣וֹת

of the world

of the earth

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh;

and the king

’a·ḥă·rê·hem.

אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃

Therefore you shall say

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣

and be drunken

of the sword

בֵּינֵיכֶֽם׃

And it shall be

from your hand

then shall you say

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣

you shall certainly

in [this] city

and should you

should you be utterly

do be unpunished

will call for

the inhabitants

of the earth

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

Therefore prophesy

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֖ים

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣

from on high

mim·mā·rō·wm

and dwelling place

ū·mim·mə·‘ō·wn

וּמִמְּע֤וֹן

from his holy

he shall mightily

his dwelling place

as they who tread

kə·ḏō·rə·ḵîm

כְּדֹרְכִ֣ים

he shall give

[the grapes] the inhabitants

of the earth

[even] the ends

of the earth

has a controversy

with the nations

bag·gō·w·yim,

[that are] them wicked

hā·rə·šā·‘îm

הָרְשָׁעִ֛ים

he will give

to the sword

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

shall go forth

a and whirlwind

shall be raised up

from the coasts

mî·yar·kə·ṯê-

מִיַּרְכְּתֵי־

of the earth

And shall be

[one] from end

of the earth

[other] the end

of the earth

do be lamented

yis·sā·p̄ə·ḏū,

yê·’ā·sə·p̄ū

yiq·qā·ḇê·rū,

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh

they shall be

you shepherds

wə·za·‘ă·qū,

wə·hiṯ·pal·lə·šū

וְהִֽתְפַּלְּשׁוּ֙

[in the ashes] you principal

of the flock

are accomplished

for the days

of your slaughter

liṭ·ḇō·w·aḥ;

and of your dispersions

ū·ṯə·p̄ō·w·ṣō·w·ṯî·ḵem,

וּתְפוֹצ֣וֹתִיכֶ֔ם

and you shall fall

ū·nə·p̄al·tem

וּנְפַלְתֶּ֖ם

like a pleasant

and shall to flee

shall have no way to flee

the shepherds

and to escape

ū·p̄ə·lê·ṭāh

from the masters

mê·’ad·dî·rê

מֵאַדִּירֵ֥י

of the flock

of the shepherds

of the principal

of the flock

[shall be heard] the LORD

their pasture

מַרְעִיתָֽם׃

and are cut down

wə·nā·ḏam·mū

dwelling places

the peaceable

haš·šā·lō·wm;

of the fierce

He has forsaken

for their land

of the fierceness

of the oppressor

hay·yō·w·nāh,

of his fierce
