yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ

ham·maṭ·ṭā·rāh

הַמַּטָּרָ֖ה

לַהֲכִינָ֖הּ

and I will answer

wə·’e·‘ĕ·ne·kā;

וְאֶעֱנֶ֑ךָּ

וְאַגִּ֧ידָה

ū·ḇə·ṣu·rō·wṯ

do that you know

יְדַעְתָּֽם׃

and concerning

of the kings

that are thrown down

han·nə·ṯu·ṣîm

הַנְּתֻצִ֕ים

has·sō·lə·lō·wṯ

הַסֹּלְל֖וֹת

lə·hil·lā·ḥêm

the Chaldeans

hak·kaś·dîm,

הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים

[it is] but to fill them

ū·lə·mal·’ām

וּלְמַלְאָם֙

the dead bodies

I have slain

and in my fury

ū·ḇa·ḥă·mā·ṯî;

וּבַחֲמָתִ֑י

הִסְתַּ֤רְתִּי

I will bring

and I will cure them

ū·rə·p̄ā·ṯîm;

וּרְפָאתִ֑ים

and will reveal

wə·ḡil·lê·ṯî

וְגִלֵּיתִ֣י

to them the abundance

and to return

wa·hă·ši·ḇō·ṯî

וַהֲשִֽׁבֹתִי֙

I will cause the captivity

the captivity

and will build them

as at the first

kə·ḇā·ri·šō·nāh.

כְּבָרִֽאשֹׁנָֽה׃

And I will cleanse them

wə·ṭi·har·tîm,

וְטִ֣הַרְתִּ֔ים

their iniquity

they have sinned

and I will pardon

wə·sā·laḥ·tî,

וְסָלַחְתִּ֗י

‘ă·wō·nō·w·ṯê·hem

עֲוֹנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙

they have sinned

they have transgressed

And it shall be

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

ū·lə·ṯip̄·’e·reṯ,

וּלְתִפְאֶ֔רֶת

of the earth

haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh,

and they shall fear

wə·rā·ḡə·zū,

haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh

the prosperity

haš·šā·lō·wm,

there shall be heard

bam·mā·qō·wm-

[shall be] desolate

[even] in the cities

and in the streets

ū·ḇə·ḥu·ṣō·wṯ

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim,

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם

that are desolate

han·šam·mō·wṯ,

הַֽנְשַׁמּ֗וֹת

and the voice

of the bridegroom

and the voice

of the bride

of those who shall say

for the LORD

[endureth] forever

his covenant loyalty

of those who shall bring

the sacrifice of praise

into the house

I will cause to return

the captivity

as they were at first

kə·ḇā·ri·šō·nāh

כְּבָרִאשֹׁנָ֖ה

bam·mā·qō·wm

that is desolate

a dwelling place

of shepherds

מַרְבִּצִ֖ים

[their] causing flocks

In the cities

of the mountains

in the cities

of the valley

haš·šə·p̄ê·lāh

הַשְּׁפֵלָה֙

and in the cities

of the south

and in the land

and in the places about

וּבִסְבִיבֵ֥י

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

and in the cities

ta·‘ă·ḇō·rə·nāh

תַּעֲבֹ֧רְנָה

of the one who numbers

that I will perform

wa·hă·qi·mō·ṯî

וַהֲקִֽמֹתִי֙

I have promised

דִּבַּ֛רְתִּי

and at that time

will I cause the Branch

of righteousness

and he shall execute

and righteousness

on the earth

shall be saved

wî·rū·šā·lim

וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

תִּשְׁכּ֣וֹן

[is the name] she shall be called

our righteousness

of the house

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and the shall the priests

wə·lak·kō·hă·nîm

וְלַכֹּהֲנִים֙

mil·lə·p̄ā·nāy;

burnt offerings

and to kindle

food offerings

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ

וּלְבִלְתִּ֛י

[Then] my covenant

I will cause their captivity

and have mercy
