נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֨ר

יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

and they besieged

way·yā·ṣu·rū

in the eleventh

בְּעַשְׁתֵּֽי־

lə·ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū,

לְצִדְקִיָּ֔הוּ

in the month

in the ninth

בְּתִשְׁעָ֣ה

[day] of the month

was broken up

hā·ḇə·qə·‘āh

way·yā·ḇō·’ū,

way·yê·šə·ḇū

וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ

in the middle

[even] Nergal-sharezer

and overtook

way·yaś·śi·ḡū

וַיַּשִּׂ֣גוּ

צִדְקִיָּהוּ֮

in the plains

bə·‘ar·ḇō·wṯ

בְּעַֽרְב֣וֹת

when they had taken

they brought him up

way·ya·‘ă·lu·hū

וַֽ֠יַּעֲלֻהוּ

נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֧ר

and where he gave

מִשְׁפָּטִֽים׃

וַיִּשְׁחַט֩

ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū

צִדְקִיָּ֛הוּ

before his eyes

also the king

ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū

צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ

and bound him

וַיַּאַסְרֵ֙הוּ֙

ban·ḥuš·ta·yim,

בַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִם

הַכַּשְׂדִּ֖ים

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

of the people

that remained

han·niš·’ā·rîm

הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים

those who fell away

han·nō·p̄ə·lîm

הַנֹּֽפְלִים֙

with the rest

han·niš·’ā·rîm;

carried away captive

יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ

nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān

נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֥ן

of the guard

and look well

וְעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙

he shall say

וַיִּשְׁלַ֞ח

the Nebuzaradan

nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān

נְבֽוּזַרְאֲדָ֣ן

and Nebushasban

ū·nə·ḇū·šaz·bān

וּנְבֽוּשַׁזְבָּן֙

wə·nê·rə·ḡal

and Even they sent

way·yiš·lə·ḥū

וַיִּשְׁלְחוּ֩

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֜הוּ

out of the court

of the prison

ham·maṭ·ṭā·rāh,

הַמַּטָּרָ֗ה

and committed

way·yit·tə·nū

וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ

gə·ḏal·yā·hū

גְּדַלְיָ֙הוּ֙

lə·hō·w·ṣi·’ê·hū

לְהוֹצִאֵ֖הוּ

so he dwelled

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ

Now the word

while he was

בִּֽהְיֹת֣וֹ

in the court

of the prison

ham·maṭ·ṭā·rāh

הַמַּטָּרָ֖ה

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֡

the Ebed-melech

I will bring

lə·ṭō·w·ḇāh;

and they shall be

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā

[accomplished] day

But I will deliver

wə·hiṣ·ṣal·tî·ḵā

וְהִצַּלְתִּ֥יךָ

into the hand

hā·’ă·nā·šîm,

הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים

[are] afraid

mip·pə·nê·hem.

מִפְּנֵיהֶֽם׃

I will certainly

’ă·mal·leṭ·ḵā,

אֲמַלֶּטְךָ֔

and by the sword you

and shall be

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

but your life

you have put your trust
