נָקִי plur. נְקִיִּים adj.

(1)  pure, metaph. innocent, free from blame, followed by מִן 2 Samuel 3:28. נְקִי כַפַּיִם of pure hands, i.q. innocent, Psalms 24:4; Exodus 23:7; Job 4:7, 9:23. דָּם נָקִי and דַּם נָקִי innocent blood, see דָּם.

(2) clear, quit, free, from incurring blame, from an obligation; followed by מִן Genesis 24:41; Numbers 32:22 from military service, Deuteronomy 24:5; 1 Kings 15:22.
