And it shall come to pass, when you shall say, Why has Yahweh our God done all these things to us? then you shall say to them, Like you have forsaken me, and served foreign gods in your land, so you shall serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

Neither do they say in their heart, Let us now fear Yahweh our God, that gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season; that preserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel: Add your burnt-offerings to your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

but this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.

And you shall say to them, This is the nation that has not listened to the voice of Yahweh their God, nor received instruction: truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fortified cities, and let us be silent there; for Yahweh our God has put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against Yahweh.

therefore this is what Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, says, Look, I will feed this people with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

But Yahweh is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth trembles, and the nations are not able to abide his indignation.

and say to them, This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says: Cursed be the man that does not hear the words of this covenant,

which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so you shall be my people, and I will be your God;

Therefore you shall speak to them this word: This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say to you, Don't we certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?

Give glory to Yahweh your God, before he causes darkness, and before your feet stumble on the dark mountains, and, while you look for light, he turns it into the shadow of death, and makes it gross darkness.

Are there any among the vanities of the nations that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? are you not he, O Yahweh our God? therefore we will wait for you; for you have made all these things.

Your words were found, and I ate them; and your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by your name, O Yahweh, God of hosts.

For thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel: Look, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.

And it shall come to pass, when you shall show this people all these words, and they shall say to you, Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our God?

and say, Hear the word of Yahweh, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem: thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, Look, I will bring evil on this place, which whoever hears, his ears shall tingle.

Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, Look, I will bring on this city and on all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it; because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.

This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, Look, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans that besiege you, outside the walls; and I will gather them into the midst of this city.
