"These twenty-three years, from the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, until this day, the Word of the Lord has come to me. And I have spoken to you again and again, but you have not listened.

The Lord has sent to you all his servants who have spoken for Him again and again, but you have not listened or turned your ear to hear.

and if you do not listen to the words of My servants who speak for Me, whom I have been sending to you again and again, but you have not listened,

But as for me, see, I am in your hands. Do with me what is good and right in your eyes.

Did King Hezekiah of Judah and all the people of Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and pray for the Lord's favor? And the Lord changed His mind about the trouble He had said would come to them. But we are about to bring a very bad thing on ourselves."

When King Jehoiakim and all his powerful men and all his leaders heard his words, the king wanted to put Uriah to death. But Uriah heard about it, and he was afraid and ran away to Egypt.

But Ahikam the son of Shaphan helped Jeremiah, so that he was not given over to the people to be put to death.

But if any nation will not serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and will not put its neck under the load of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, hunger, and disease," says the Lord, "until I have destroyed it by his hand.

But they are lying to you, and will cause you to be taken far from your land. I will drive you out, and you will die.

But the nation that brings its neck under the cross-bar of the king of Babylon and serves him, I will let stay on its own land," says the Lord. "And its people will take care of the fields and live there."'"

But if they are true men of God, and if the Word of the Lord is with them, let them now pray to the Lord of All. Let them ask that the objects which are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem, may not go to Babylon.

"Go and tell Hananiah, ‘The Lord says, "You have broken the cross-bars of wood, but you have made bars of iron in their place."

Because of them a curse will be used by all the people who are from Judah but are in Babylon: "May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned in the fire."

"Send word to all My people held in Babylon, saying, ‘This is what the Lord says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Shemaiah has spoken to you in My name, but I did not send him. He has made you trust in a lie.'

That day will be very bad! There is none like it. It is the time of Jacob's trouble, but he will be saved out of it.

But they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

For I am with you to save you,' says the Lord. ‘I will make a complete end of all the nations where I have sent you. I will not make a complete end of you, but I will give you the right punishment. I will not let you go without being punished.'

But all who destroy you will be destroyed. Every one of those who hate you will be taken away against their will. Those who rob you will be robbed, and all who hurt you will be hurt.

But every one will die for his own sin. Each man who eats the sour grapes will get the sour taste.

The New Way of Worship will not be like the Old Way of Worship I gave to their early fathers. That was when I took them by the hand and led them out of Egypt. But they did not follow the Old Way of Worship, even when I was a husband to them," says the Lord.
