But others said, It is Elijah. And others said, [It is] a prophet, [even] as one of the prophets.

But Herod, when he heard [thereof], said, John, whom I beheaded, he is risen.

And the king was exceeding sorry; but for the sake of his oaths, and of those that sat to eat, he would not reject her.

But he answered and said to them, You give them to eat. And they say to him, Shall we go and buy $20,000 worth of bread, and give them to eat?

but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out;

for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and says to them, Be of good cheer: it is I; don't be afraid.

for they didn't understand concerning the loaves, but their heart was hardened.

And wherever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and implored him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

And the Pharisees and the scribes ask him, Why don't your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with defiled hands?

And he said to them, Isaiah prophesied well of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.

But in vain they worship me, Teaching [as their] doctrines the precepts of men.

but you say, If a man shall say to his father or his mother, That with which you might have been profited by me is Corban, that is to say, Given [to God];

there is nothing from outside the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.

because it does not go into his heart, but into his belly, and goes out into the toilet? [This he said], making all meats clean.

But right away a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.

But she answered and says to him, Lord, even the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it.

And they told him, saying, John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but others, One of the prophets.

And he asked them, But who do you say that I am? Peter answers and says to him, You are the Christ.

But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and says, Get behind me, Satan; for you do not mind the things of God, but the things of men.
