Jesus looking on them says, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.

And Jesus answering says to them, Have faith in God.

And when they had come, they say to him, Teacher, we know that you are true, and do not care about [what] anyone [thinks]; for you do not regard the person of men, but of a truth teach the way of God: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give?

And Jesus said to them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marveled greatly at him.

Jesus said to them, Is it not for this cause that you err, that you don't know the scriptures, nor the power of God?

But as concerning the dead, that they are raised; have you not read in the book of Moses, in [the place concerning] the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, I [am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living: you do greatly err.

Jesus answered, The first is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is [the only] one:

and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that dared ask him any question.

For those days shall be tribulation, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be.

Truly I say to you, I shall no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

And when the captain, who stood by across from him, saw that he so gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

there came Joseph of Arimathaea, a councilor of honorable estate, who also himself was looking for the kingdom of God; and he boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Now it came to pass, while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,

And many of the sons of Israel he shall turn to the Lord their God.

And the angel answering said to him, I am Gabriel, that stands in the presence of God; and I was sent to speak to you, and to bring you these good tidings.

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
