And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, and do not care about [what] anyone [thinks]: for you do not regard the person of men.

They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's.

But Jesus answered and said to them, You err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

But as concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,

I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not [the God] of the dead, but of the living.

And he said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

And he that swears by the heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him that sits thereon.

who said, This man said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said to him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.

and saying, You that destroy the temple, and build it in three days: save yourself, if you are the Son of God, and come down from the cross.

He trusts on God; let him deliver [him] now, if he desires him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

Now the captain, and those that were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Now after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,

and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe in the gospel.

saying, What do we have to do with you, Jesus you Nazarene? have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are, the Holy One of God.

Why does this man thus speak? he blasphemes: who can forgive sins but one, [even] God?

And he arose, and immediately took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

How he entered into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the showbread, which it is not lawful to eat save for the priests, and gave also to those that were with him?
