The chief priests of the Jews therefore said to Pilate, Do not write, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

They said therefore one to another, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which says, They parted my garments among them, And on my vesture they cast lots.

These things therefore the soldiers did. But there were standing by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the [wife] of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

but when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they did not break his legs:

And after these things Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked of Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave [him] leave. He came therefore, and took away his body.

and the napkin, that was on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.

But Mary was standing outside at the tomb weeping: so, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb;

Jesus says to her, Do not touch me; for I have not yet ascended to the Father: but go to my brothers, and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, wasn't with them when Jesus came.

The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will in no way believe.

Then he says to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and see my hands; and reach [here] your hand, and put it into my side: and don't be faithless, but believing.

but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in his name.

But when morning was now come, Jesus stood on the beach: yet the disciples didn't know that it was Jesus.

But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits off), dragging the net [full] of fish.

Jesus says to them, Come [and] break your fast. But none of the disciples dared inquire of him, Who are you? knowing that it was the Lord.

Truly, truly, I say to you, When you were young, you girded yourself, and walked where you wanted: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you where you do not want.

This saying therefore went forth among the brothers, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus didn't say to him, that he should not die; but, If I will that he tarries until I come, what [is that] to you?

and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, [he said], you heard from me:

For John indeed baptized in water; but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.

But you shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come on you: and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.
