For he flatters himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He has ceased to be wise [and] to do good.

He devises iniquity on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil.

Trust in Yahweh, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on [his] faithfulness.

Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him: Don't fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yes, you shall diligently consider his place, and he shall not be.

The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes on him with his teeth.

The Lord will laugh at him; For he sees that his day is coming.

A [noble] man's goings are established of Yahweh; And he delights in his way.

Though he falls, he shall not be completely cast down; For Yahweh upholds him with his hand.

I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.

All the day long he deals graciously, and lends; And his seed is blessed.

For Yahweh loves justice, And does not forsake his saints; They are preserved forever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom, And his tongue speaks justice.

The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.

Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.

Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, And he will exalt you to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

But I, as a deaf man, don't hear; And I am as a mute man that does not open his mouth.

Look, you have made my days [as] handbreadths; And my lifetime is as nothing before you: Surely every man at his best estate is altogether vanity. Selah.

When you with rebukes correct man for iniquity, You make his beauty to consume away like a moth: Surely everyone among man is vanity. Selah.
