“Listen, you deaf!Look, you blind, so that you may see.

Look, I am about to do something new;even now it is coming. Do you not see it?Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness,rivers in the desert.

All who make idols are nothing,and what they treasure benefits no one.Their witnesses do not see or know anything,so they will be put to shame.

He burns half of it in a fire,and he roasts meat on that half.He eats the roast and is satisfied.He warms himself and says, “Ah!I am warm, I see the blaze.”

Such people do not comprehendand cannot understand,for he has shut their eyes so they cannot see,and their minds so they cannot understand.

This is what the Lord,the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, saysto one who is despised,to one abhorred by people,to a servant of rulers:“Kings will see, princes will stand up,and they will all bow downbecause of the Lord, who is faithful,the Holy One of Israel—and he has chosen you.”

See, these will come from far away,from the north and from the west,and from the land of Sinim.

Then you will say within yourself,‘Who fathered these for me?I was deprived of my children and unable to conceive,exiled and wandering—but who brought them up?See, I was left by myself—but these, where did they come from?’”

See, my servant will be successful;he will be raised and lifted up and greatly exalted.

so he will sprinkle many nations.Kings will shut their mouths because of him,for they will see what had not been told them,and they will understand what they had not heard.

Yet the Lord was pleased to crush him severely.When you make him a guilt offering,he will see his seed, he will prolong his days,and by his hand, the Lord’s pleasure will be accomplished.

After his anguish,he will see light and be satisfied.By his knowledge,my righteous servant will justify many,and he will carry their iniquities.

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,to bring the poor and homeless into your house,to clothe the naked when you see him,and not to ignore your own flesh and blood?

Then you will see and be radiant,and your heart will tremble and rejoice,because the riches of the sea will become yoursand the wealth of the nations will come to you.

Their descendants will be known among the nations,and their posterity among the peoples.All who see them will recognizethat they are a people the Lord has blessed.

Nations will see your righteousnessand all kings, your glory.You will be given a new namethat the Lord’s mouth will announce.

You who tremble at his word,hear the word of the Lord:“Your brothers who hate and exclude youfor my name’s sake have said,‘Let the Lord be glorifiedso that we can see your joy!’But they will be put to shame.”

You will see, you will rejoice,and you will flourish like grass;then the Lord’s power will be revealed to his servants,but he will show his wrath against his enemies.

“Knowing their works and their thoughts, I have come to gather all nations and languages; they will come and see my glory.
