Study Desk

For by You I can run upon a troop;And by my God I can leap over a wall.

As for God, His way is blameless;The word of Yahweh is tried;He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

For who is God, but Yahweh?And who is a rock, except our God,

He trains my hands for battle,So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

For You have girded me with strength for battle;You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

They cried for help, but there was none to save,Even to Yahweh, but He did not answer them.

The God who executes vengeance for me,And subdues peoples under me.

Their line has gone out through all the earth,And their utterances to the end of the world.In them He has placed a tent for the sun,

We will sing for joy over your salvation,And in the name of our God we will set up our banners.May Yahweh fulfill all your petitions.

For You meet him with the blessings of good things;You set a crown of fine gold on his head.

For You make him most blessed forever;You make him joyful with gladness in Your presence.

For the king trusts in Yahweh,And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he will not be shaken.

For You will make them turn their back;You will aim with Your bowstrings at their faces.

Be not far from me, for distress is near;For there is none to help.

For dogs have surrounded me;A band of evildoers has encompassed me;They pierced my hands and my feet.

They divide my garments among them,And for my clothing they cast lots.

For He has not despised and He has not abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;And He has not hidden His face from him;But when he cried to Him for help, He heard.

For the kingdom is Yahweh'sAnd He rules over the nations.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I fear no evil, for You are with me;Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

For He has founded it upon the seasAnd established it upon the rivers.
