But his lord answered and said to him, You wicked and slothful slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I did not scatter;

But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he shall sit on the throne of his glory:

and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then the King shall say to them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Then he shall say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:

And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these words, he said to his disciples,

there came to him a woman having an alabaster cruse of exceeding precious ointment, and she poured it on his head, as he sat to eat.

And he answered and said, He that dipped his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.

Then Jesus comes with them to a place called Gethsemane, and says to his disciples, Sit here, while I go yonder and pray.

And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.

And look, one of those that were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and smote the slave of the high priest, and struck off his ear.

But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said to him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God.

Then the high priest rent his garments, saying, He has spoken blasphemy: what further need do we have of witnesses? look, now you have heard the blasphemy:

Then they spat in his face and buffeted him: and some smote him with the palms of their hands,

And while he was sitting on the judgment-seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have nothing to do with that righteous man; for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

So when Pilate saw that he prevailed nothing, but rather that a tumult was arising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this man; you see [to it].

And all the people answered and said, His blood [be] on us, and on our children.

And they platted a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they knelt down before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

And when they had mocked him, they took off from him the robe, and put on him his garments, and led him away to crucify him.

And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: they compelled him to go [with them], that he might bear his cross.
