We know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us to Godto God">[fn] together with you.Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 6:14;">[xr]

We know that if the earthly tent we live in is torn down, we have a building in heaven that comes from God, an eternal house not built by humanhuman">[fn] hands.Job 1:4:19; 2 Corinthians 4:7; 2 Peter 1:13-14;">[xr]

God has prepared us for this and has given us his Spirit as a guarantee.Isaiah 29:23; Romans 8:23; 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:14; 2:10; 4:30;">[xr]

Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade people. We ourselves are perfectly known to God. I hope we are also really known to your consciences.Job 1:31:23; 2 Corinthians 4:2; Hebrews 10:31; Jude 1:23;">[xr]

So if we were crazy, it was for God; if we are sane, it is for you.2 Corinthians 11:1,16-17;">[xr]

All of this comes from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.Romans 5:10; Ephesians 2:16; Colossians 1:20; 1 John 2:2; 4:10;">[xr]

For in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself by not counting their sins against them, and he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.Romans 3:24-25;">[xr]

Therefore, we are Christ's representatives, as though God were pleading through us. We plead on Christ's behalf: "Be reconciled to God!"Job 1:33:23; Malachi 2:7; 2 Corinthians 3:6; 6:1; Ephesians 6:20;">[xr]

Since, then, we are working with God,working together">[fn] we plead with you not to accept God's grace in vain.1 Corinthians 3:9; 2 Corinthians 5:20; Hebrews 12:15;">[xr]

What agreement can a temple of God make with idols? For weyou (pl.)">[fn] are the temple of the living God, just as God said:Exodus 29:45; Leviticus 26:12; Jeremiah 31:33; 32:38; Ezekiel 11:20; 36:28; 37:26; Zechariah 8:8; 13:9; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; Ephesians 2:21-22; Hebrews 3:6;">[xr] "I will live and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people."Leviticus 26:12; Ezekiel 37:27">[fn]

Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit by perfecting holiness in the fear of God.2 Corinthians 6:17-18; 1 John 3:3;">[xr]

Yet God, who comforts those who feel miserable, comforted us by the arrival of Titus,2 Corinthians 1:4; 2:13;">[xr]

So, even though I wrote to you, it wasn't because of the man who did the wrong or because of the man who was hurt. Instead, I wrote to you so that your devotion to us might be made perfectly clear to you before God.2 Corinthians 2:4;">[xr]

But thanks be to God, who placed in the heart of Titus the same dedication to you that I have.

Each of you must give what you have decided in your heart, not with regret or under compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver.Exodus 25:2; 35:5; Deuteronomy 15:7; Proverbs 11:25; Romans 12:8; 2 Corinthians 8:12;">[xr]

Besides, God is able to make every blessing of yours overflow for you, so that in every situation you will always have all you need for any good work.Proverbs 11:24-25; 28:27; Philippians 4:19;">[xr]

In every way you will grow richer and become even more generous, and this will produce thanksgiving to God because of us.2 Corinthians 1:11; 4:15;">[xr]

For this ministry you render is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but it is also overflowing with more and more prayers of thanksgiving to God.2 Corinthians 8:14;">[xr]

Because of the proof that this service of yours brings, you will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and because of your generosity in sharing with them and everyone else.Matthew 5:16; Hebrews 13:16;">[xr]
