But Jesus answered and said, Allow [them] thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

And they said, What further need do we have of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth.

And Herod with his soldiers also set him at nothing, and mocked him, and arraying him in gorgeous apparel sent him back to Pilate.

And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.

And the people stood watching. And the rulers also scoffed at him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen.

And all his acquaintances, and the women that followed with him from Galilee, stood far off, seeing these things.

And the women, who had come with him out of Galilee, followed after, and looked at the tomb, and how his body was laid.

And they remembered his words,

But Peter arose, and ran to the tomb; and stooping and looking in, he sees the linen cloths by themselves; and he departed to his home, wondering at that which came to pass.

and when they didn't find his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.

Didn't it behoove the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?

And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.

and that repentance unto remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

And he led them out until [they were] across from Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

He came to his own, and those that were his own did not receive him.

But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, [even] to those that believe on his name:

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

For of his fullness we all received, and grace for grace.

Again on the next day John was standing, and two of his disciples;

He finds first his own brother Simon, and says to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, being interpreted, Christ).
