God remembered Noach, all the animals, and all the cattle that were with him in the teivah; and God made a wind to pass over the eretz. The waters subsided.

God spoke to Noach, saying,

God blessed Noach and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the eretz.

Whoever sheds man's blood, by man will his blood be shed, for in the image of God made he man.

God spoke to Noach, and to his sons with him, saying,

God said, "This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

The rainbow will be in the cloud. I will look at it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the eretz."

God said to Noach, "This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is on the eretz."

He said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem; Let Kana`an be his servant.

God enlarge Yefet, Let him dwell in the tents of Shem; Let Kana`an be his servant."

Avram said, "Lord GOD, what will you give me, seeing I go childless, and he who will inherit my estate is Eli`ezer of Dammesek?"

He said, "Lord GOD, whereby will I know that I will inherit it?"

She called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, "You are a God who sees," for she said, "Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?"

Avram fell on his face. God talked with him, saying,

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.

I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Kana`an, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God."

God said to Avraham, "As for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.

God said to Avraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name will be Sarah.

Avraham said to God, "Oh that Yishma'el might live before you!"

God said, "No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Yitzchak. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.
