And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.

But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and all the domestic animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided;

Then God said to Noah,

God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

Whoever sheds the blood of a human, by a human shall that person's blood be shed; for in his own image God made humankind.

Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him,

God said, "This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations:

When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth."

God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth."

He also said, "Blessed by the Lord my God be Shem; and let Canaan be his slave.

May God make space for Japheth, and let him live in the tents of Shem; and let Canaan be his slave."

And King Melchizedek of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was priest of God Most High.

He blessed him and said, "Blessed be Abram by God Most High, maker of heaven and earth;

and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!" And Abram gave him one-tenth of everything.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom, "I have sworn to the Lord , God Most High, maker of heaven and earth,

But Abram said, "O Lord God , what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?"

But he said, "O Lord God , how am I to know that I shall possess it?"

So she named the Lord who spoke to her, "You are El-roi"; for she said, "Have I really seen God and remained alive after seeing him?"

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, "I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless.

Then Abram fell on his face; and God said to him,
