He who informs against friends for a share of the spoil,The eyes of his children also will come to an end.

Even young children reject me;I rise up, and they speak against me.

They send forth their little ones like the flock,And their children skip about.

When the Almighty was yet with me,And my children were around me,

Their children become strong; they grow up in the open field;They leave and do not return to them.

She treats her children cruelly, as if they were not hers;Though her labor be empty, she is without dread,

From men with Your hand, O Yahweh,From men of the world, whose portion is in this life,And whose belly You fill with Your treasure;They are satisfied with children,And leave their excess to their infants.

Come, you children, listen to me;I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.

May he give justice to the afflicted of the people,Save the children of the needy,And crush the oppressor.

If I had said, "I will recount thus,"Behold, I would have betrayed the generation of Your children.

We will not conceal them from their children,But recount to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh,And His strength and His wondrous deeds that He has done.

For He established a testimony in JacobAnd set a law in Israel,Which He commanded our fathersThat they should teach them to their children,

That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born,That they may arise and recount them to their children,

Assyria also has joined with them;They have become the power of the children of Lot. Selah.

The children of Your slaves will dwell securely,And their seed will be established before You."

As a father has compassion on his children,So Yahweh has compassion on those who fear Him.

But the lovingkindness of Yahweh is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him,And His righteousness to children's children,

May Yahweh give you increase,You and your children.

Behold, children are an inheritance of Yahweh,The fruit of the womb is a reward.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,So are the children of one's youth.
