Preserve my soul; for I am godly: O you my God, save your slave that trusts in you.

For you are great, and do wondrous things: You alone are God.

I will praise you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; And I will glorify your name for evermore.

O God, the proud have risen up against me, And a company of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set you before them.

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth.

Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. Selah.

A God very terrible in the council of the holy ones, And to be awed above all those that are round about him?

O Yahweh God of hosts, Who is a mighty one, like you, O Yah? And your faithfulness is round about you.

He shall cry to me, You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.

BOOK IV. A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, you have been our dwelling-place In all generations.

Before the mountains were brought forth, Or you had ever formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

And let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; And establish the work of our hands on us; Yes, the work of our hands establish it.

I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

They are planted in the house of Yahweh; They shall flourish in the courts of our God.

O Yahweh, God to whom vengeance belongs, God to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth.

And they say, Yah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider.

But Yahweh has been my high tower, And my God the rock of my refuge.

And he has brought on them their own iniquity, And will cut them off in their own wickedness; Yahweh our God will cut them off.

For Yahweh is a great God, And a great King above all gods.
