(Strong's #3075 — Verb — lumainomai — loo-mah'ee-nom-ahee )

"to maltreat, to outrage" (from lume, "a brutal outrage"), is translated "laid waste" (the church), in Acts 8:3 , RV (AV, "made havoc of").
