(Hebrew Achzay', אִחְזִי, prob. a prolonged form of Ahaz; Sept. omits, Vulg. Ahazi), a grandson of Immer and grandfather of Amashai (Nehemiah 11:13). Gesenius thinks him the same with JAHZERAH (See JAHZERAH) (q.v.), who is made the great-grandson of Immer in 1 Chronicles 9:12.
