a Baptist minister, was born at Margaree, Cape Breton. He united with the Church in 1826, and was ordained July 20, 1828. From 1830 to 1853 he was the colleague of Rev. Harris Harding, pastor of the Church in Yarmouth, and subsequently was pastor of churches in St. John, N. B., and Hantsport, N. S., where he died il 1867. See Cathcart, Baptist Encyclop. p. 170. (J.
