Clark, Peter (2),
a Baptist minister, was born at Gilmanton, N. H., Oct. 8, 1791. He joined the Free-will Baptists in June, 1798; was ordained Jan. 8,1810, and became the pastor of the Church in Gilmanton. He died Nov. 28, 1865. Mr. Clark took a prominent part in the temperance reformation in the region where he resided. He was a careful observer of men and things; possessed a .tenacious memory, had a critical mind, and cultivated the habit of great exactness in his language. See.
