a faithful minister of the German Reformed Church, was born March 12, 1820. He studied at Mercersburg, Pennsylvania; was licensed by the classis of Zion in 1838; subsequently went to North Carolina, where he was ordained as pastor at Davidson; and, after some years, removed to Lincoln, where he died, January 24, 1859.
