an Italian theologian, was born at Florence about 1360. He entered the order of Zihe Dominicans, and became celebrated for learning and piety. He was sent, in the year 1400, to the Council of Constance. After having accomplished diplomatic missions to the king of Bohemia, in 1409, and the emperor Sigismund, in 1413, he was elected general of his order in 1414; and died in April 1425, leaving several theological works, the only ones of which that have been printed are, Sermones de Petitionibus (Lyons, 1518, 8vo): Sermones de Flagellis Peccatorum (ibid. eod. 4to).
